Source-backed wiki

Tater is a multi-platform AI assistant built to act, inspect, automate, and report.

Tater connects to OpenAI-compatible LLMs, routes requests through the Cerberus execution core, and completes tasks by smartly chaining kernel tools with Verba Plugins across chat, smart-home, media, automation, and utility workflows.

What Tater does

The first pass of the wiki anchors the core runtime, not just the branding.

Smart chaining

Cerberus breaks work into ordered steps, chooses the right kernel tool or Verba Plugin for each step, and keeps chaining until the task is complete.

Kernel layer

Built-in tools cover file work, web research, archive inspection, memory, image description, workspace notes, attachments, and outbound messaging.

Verba Plugins

Actions speak louder then words. Verba Plugins extend Tater for Home Assistant, media systems, image generation, camera events, Discord admin, notes, downloads, and more.

Control surface

The WebUI handles setup, chat, Verba Plugin management, Cerberus tuning, and private operator workflows while chat platforms expose the same assistant to users.

Runtime surfaces

Tater spans operator consoles, chat clients, smart-home bridges, schedulers, and background services.
