Behavior in the current codebase
- Executes recurring jobs without requiring an external scheduler around Tater.
- Routes the prepared result directly through supported notifier portals without asking a second model to rewrite it.
- Broadcast delivery can target everywhere, one native satellite, or a configured stereo pair.
- Optional generated or uploaded background audio can loop beneath TTS with volume, ducking, attack, release, and finish-fade controls.
- Persistent native audio scenes stop their background when the scheduled speech finishes and fall back clearly on older firmware.
Direct core support
AI Task Runner is a scheduler core. It executes scheduled prompts and routes results through notifier portals rather than acting as a direct Verba target.
Configuration schema
The scheduler declares a settings block, but it does not currently require explicit fields. Its behavior is driven by scheduled task data, targets, and notifier routing.
